As a journalist at the Korea Daily, I embraced the rhythm of words, writing stories, poems, and delving into novels. Journalism was a path that promised not just a career but a way to live out my passion for storytelling and my desire to illuminate the world's stories.
Each article and interview has been a step in a journey of growth, teaching me the craft of narrative and the art of communication. My training has turned challenges into skills and interviews into insights, all while feeding my love for the written word and the diverse tapestry of human experience.

Tutoring Math in Santa Barbara City College

Tutoring math was an activity that lasted all year for me. I would say tutoring math went really well because I learned that I enjoyed teaching and I know that I helped improve college students's math skills. I proud of myself to help struggling students improve their math skills and communicate student performances and concerns. I learned a lot from tutoring math.

My journey at the University of California, San Diego was graced with the joy of joining the Kommon Society Club, where I embraced the role of marketing team leader. This adventure was more than just a role; it was a chapter of growth and connection. Leading the team wasn't merely about guiding; it was about discovering the symphony of leadership, the rhythm of communication, and the dance of group development.

Graduating from UCSD with a BS in Cognitive Science truly was a slice of cinematic magic. Those three years were sprinkled with moments straight out of a film, rich with academic learning and the warmth of incredible friends and professors.
I'll always cherish the quiet afternoons spent lost in books at Geisel Library and those peaceful pauses, gazing out at the sea from La Jolla Cove — memories etched in my heart.
As Dr. Seuss wisely said, "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." These words have been my guiding star.
To UCSD, my alma mater, you've been nothing short of enchanting. Here's to the lessons learned, the friendships forged, and the countless memories. Thank you for being my home away from home.
Guiding and interpreting for international students who came to graduate school in Korea from developing countries has been a chapter full of enriching experiences and deep connections. Each day was a heartwarming journey, watching my friends grow to cherish every moment in Korea and fall in love with its culture. Their happiness was my happiness, and every shared smile was a reminder of the beauty of cultural exchange. These moments, these friendships, these lessons in humanity and kindness — they are treasures I'll carry with me always, lighting up my path with the joy of having made a difference
Every summer and winter break, returning to Korea meant stepping into the role of a teacher, sharing knowledge on the SAT and TOEFL at a local academy.

After graduation, I found myself completely enchanted by the joy of teaching, which led me to dedicate a whole year to learning alongside the children. It was from them that I learned the true essence of passion for learning and purity of spirit.

Their laughter, their breakthrough moments, and the genuine love that filled our classroom are imprinted on my heart. The way their eyes lit up with understanding and wonder is a vision that I'll carry with me like a lantern in the night—a constant reminder of the pure joy that teaching brings.

I presented my very first poster presentation in front of the professors at the Seoul National University AI retreat. It was a bundle of nerves, but the flutter in my heart was outmatched by the sheer joy of sharing my research with others. To think that someone was listening, really listening, to the ideas I've nurtured felt incredibly fulfilling. As I walk further down the path of a researcher, my humble wish is for my work to someday be a beacon of hope, even if just for one person. 😊

I'm thrilled to share that I've become part of the KOICA family, serving as a supporter and planner! My passion for international organizations and keen interest in healthcare, well-being, and Official Development Assistance (ODA) have found a home with KOICA, where I aim to be an agent of positive change. 😊
Spreading the word about the importance of ODA and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) alongside KOICA's initiatives has been incredibly rewarding. It's affirmed my desire to continue making a meaningful impact and I'm excited to keep fostering this spirit of goodwill in all my future endeavors!
