Just wrapped up an invigorating workshop at the Brain and Cognitive Science Department at Seoul National University, where I had the chance to dive into the depths of decision-making in substance use patients. Together with the brilliant Cathy Hyunjin Kim, a PhD candidate in Psychology, we explored the nuances of behavioral patterns using generalized random forests—a fancy way of saying we’re using some serious computing power to predict how different people react to substance use.
